How to choose

Three questions before buying a safe.

What goes inside?

The value to protect sets the resistance grade needed, and the insurance premium.

Fire or burglary?

Paper and drives need a fire-resistant cabinet; cash needs burglary resistance. Some safes do both.

Who needs to open it?

The answer changes the lock: key, code, dual key or time delay. And it changes what happens when someone leaves the company.
